North Star Academy is centrally located in Duluth on 270 acres of designated School Forest, serving students in grades PreK-8. We focus on outdoor education, a robust specialist program including art, music, community service learning, and second language options, in addition to a strong core of targeted instruction in reading, math, social studies, and science. We emphasize play-based and project-based learning, small class sizes, and a schoolwide focus on core values, community-building, and Restorative Practices.
