This year, North Star Academy was able to start a new unit – Archery! The instruction utilizes the National Archery in the Schools Program (NASP). A Nationally recognized program reaching around 9,000 schools with the highest safety rating in the country. NS was able to fund the archery program in part through the Duluth Edison Charter Schools Legacy Grant Foundation.
The students have LOVED the experience, with many positive statements regarding their personal enjoyment in trying a new lifetime sport. Please keep your eye open for future after school programs.
